Women’s Homestead Society
April 26 & 27 Dickson Tennessee
Description from their website: The Women’s Homestead Society was started in October 2022 from a need and desire to cultivate community and help connect women in their local areas with mentors and supporters. The conference has grown from a small group of women meeting at a home farm to reaching a multitude of women who have joined this homesteading movement.
We will be vending at this event. Find our booth and come say hi!
Homestead Business Weekend
April 12 & 13 PolyFace Farms, Virginia
Description from the Website: Enjoy in-depth, two-hour discussion classes from the homesteaders and farmers that are making a living off of what we all love to do. Whether you’re wanting to be the next Polyface farm, or you just want your homestead to pay for itself.
At this event we will be working the Sawdust Publishing booth in the vendor area. Come say hello and I’ll sign your book!
Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival
May 18 & 19 Lexington Kentucky
A great place to learn all things sheep and wool! We will have a booth selling our sheep milk soap, some wool products, and our book! We will also have a book signing so check the event program to find out where to come get your copy signed!
June 7 & 8 Columbia Tennessee
Come hear from other Homesteading experts and learn how to better improve your farming skills, network with other folks in the field, and enjoy all the lovely vendors!
Katya from Slavic Beauty and I will have a booth selling cream separators, cheesemaking supplies, our book, sheep milk soap, drop spindles and wool products.
September 6 & 7, Marshfield Missouri
This event features a few of my absolutely favorite homesteaders - Joel Salatin, Shawn and Beth Daugherty, and Brandon Sheared!
I will be giving a presentation on dairy sheep for the homestead, as well as having a booth where I will sell (and sign!) my book, as well as have wool products and sheep milk soap. This will be my first time ever attending this event and I can’t wait!
October 4 & 5Th, Shepherdsville Kentucky
This festival is still getting organized, but they already have some great speakers lined up such as RuthAnne Zimmerman, Raw Milk and Deadlifts, Farm Girl in the Making, and Beeing Kept!
October 11 & 12Th, Front Royal Virginia
The OG Homestead Festival!!! This is the event we go to every year. There are so many dear folks that have walked through our Homesteading journey with us, it feels like a family reunion.
Please note that tickets to the main event ARE sold out - but you CAN still attend if you purchase a workshop ticket!
